May 13 divewhen i saw the sea today. i wanted to jump down and dive. not that i want to die, just remembering the guy dived into toliet in trainspotting...a world so fresh.
今天走在海边,看到峭壁下的深蓝的海水忽然很想跳下去。就像猜火车里一头栽进那个肮脏的马桶,其实里面是个清澈的世界。

Thuresday 23
it's funny, when i was about to going to reach the door, go for Levens---the chosen unfamous village by bus 89, my mobile rang, FINALLY. and an unexpected interview with the boss, i was prepared fully for going out, totally unprepared for an interview. what can i say? no problem. 40 mins. then there i go, to the village. the view on the way reminds me of Hohhot. really beautyful montain view. the village is quiet quiet, all i can hear is the sound of flies flying. lovely kids say bonjour to me...maybe not many starngers, well chinese, around i guess. the quiet village calmed me down. how can things just happen that way...that worth some serious thinking.

April 13 interesting
February 07 memo-focusare you going to airport or train station? if yes, you are on the wrong bus.
Neither.
Arthur. guess: england? sweden? USA? close...Canada, Bingo.
Business report? bullshit. they sell adveritisement, in other words, company pays, they write good things about the company. he makes money on commissions. yes, travel a lot, knock on the door to find customers( he hit his head on the bar while saying that). the company is tiny, 25 prople, based in paris, registered in swisserland to avoid taxes (oh tax law). last year, 1000 cvs received,10 hired. last time interviewed 10,0 hired. highlight: international, good level of english. ( how can a tiny company like this attracts so many ppl? there r a lot of desperate graduates i guess..or the boss is really someone)
it's not real report. but it pays good, travel a lot..interesting. maybe only when you try to write only good things about a company and talk to CEO then you can see what a company is really like..CEOs are relaxed..just maybe. He exchanged in HEC..pretty good school. Damn, no interns.
well, i invented the word streeters..but is it that funny?
they are cool.
hungry and dirty..cool?
they are not hungry, just dirty, cuz i always see one feeds pigeon with bread. it's cool, no rent.
i am going to the port, cuz i live on a boat. ( that could be a start of a poem...)
really u live on a boat?
how can that be serious
i like his glasses
P.S. 977 the hits channel...pink-rockstar

January 21 subsidiaryA subsidiary, in business matters, is an entity that is controlled by a bigger and more powerful entity. The controlled entity is called a company, corporation, or limited liability company, and the controlling entity is called its parent (or the parent company). The reason for this distinction is that a lone company cannot be a subsidiary of any organization; only an entity representing a legal fiction as a separate entity can be a subsidiary. While individuals have the capacity to act on their own initiative, a business entity can only act through its directors, officers and employees. The most common way that control of a subsidiary is achieved is through the ownership of shares in the subsidiary by the parent. These shares give the parent the necessary votes to determine the composition of the board of the subsidiary and so exercise control. This gives rise to the common presumption that 50% plus one share is enough to create a subsidiary. There are, however, other ways that control can come about and the exact rules both as to what control is needed and how it is achieved can be complex (see below). A subsidiary may itself have subsidiaries, and these, in turn, may have subsidiaries of their own. A parent and all its subsidiaries together are called a group, although this term can also apply to cooperating companies and their subsidiaries with varying degrees of shared ownership. Subsidiaries are separate, distinct legal entities for the purposes of taxation and regulation. For this reason, they differ from divisions, which are businesses fully integrated within the main company, and not legally or otherwise distinct from it. |
